Hi - my name is Debby, after I was made redundant from my job at a local charity I started looking for a new job and appropriate care for my Battersea rescue pup, I struggled to find someone who could give me the type of service I wanted for her and decided to become self employed.   I launched my own business in October 2012 and one of the services I provided was pet care, within six months of launching it became obvious that my passion and my future was animals and so Decorum Dog Walking and Pet Care Service was born. Launched on 16th April 2013, I have built my business by reputation and love what I do!

I like to create a partnership with each pawrent to ensure their pet gets the best possible experience from their interaction with me. Following a free initial meeting to ensure that everyone is comfortable with me, we would organise a plan around you and your pet, with dogs this includes us all walking together to establish a bond before beginning regular visits.

I think it is vital, to be kind and compassionate when caring for any animal and to provide a stable, safe and happy environment. I believe in only positive rewards and actions. With dogs, all our walks are about physical and mental stimulation designed to enrich your dog's walking experience.   Small animal care involves feeding, contact and play, where appropriate.

I am a member of NARPS, fully insured and crb/dbs checked and I have completed my first aid certificate with Animal Aiders and carry their first aid kits at all times. I also have excellent references.

As a very experienced dog owner and now a professional dog walker I  would love the opportunity to help you to look after your dog and I can provide complete home from home care, giving you peace of mind. I walk through Crane Park, Bedfont Lakes Country Park, Gunnesbury Park, Cranford Park, Hounslow Heath and Hanworth Park regularly, as well as ad hoc trips to Richmond Park, Osterley Park, St Annes Hill, Virginia Water and Runnymede by the river, as it is important to stimulate all the senses with new places and new smells.

I have been around all sorts of animals from childhood, my family owned a working farm and I have worked for an exotic animal importers and a pet shop. I have been owned by and trained a deaf dog, and my dogs have been everything from a Jack Russell to a Dalmation. I am currently pawrent to a Staffie X girlie and an English Bull Terrier boy, both of whom are rescue dogs. I have walked family and friends dogs for as long as I can remember - from mini schnauzers to a German Shepherd, my aunt had pyrenean mountain dogs. I have also cared for a Stallion named Viking while his owner was at Uni.

I have been owned by cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, goldfish and koi carp, tree frogs, Chinese water lizards and budgies so can provide care for other pets within the home, as required.
